We began to see visions of a youth revival stirring in the West, right in the face of headlines that said the exact opposite. Along with many others, we began to PRAY that something would change. And, something began to stir in Gen Z. We started to see Gen Zeal emerge with a passion for truth and a deep hunger to live for something more. From Asbury University in Kentucky, USA, to Manchester, England, we have seen this transform into a longing for wholehearted devotion to Jesus. We have set ourselves to respond.

Gen Zeal was born out of a passion to reverse the statistics of decline in church attendance and engagement of the next generation.

Rooted in history

“In 1949, on the Scottish Island of Lewis, Outer Hebrides, Peggy & Christine Smith (pictured with Duncan Campbell) prayed for revival in this house behind me before it began to be rebuilt. Their prayers preached as many young people turned to Christ because these two precious ladies gave themselves to prayer. As their house is being rebuilt in their memory, let’s rebuild the altars of prayer for the next generation as they did.” - Josh Green, Co-Founder of Gen Zeal.
